Prior to beginning the course, the students are given a chance to gauge the quality of tutoring that we are offering through a 30 mins 1:1 introductory session as well as being asked to complete a consultation paper designed accurately assess the student’s strength and weaknesses. These activities help to form a good picture of the student’s current educational level.

45 mins daily mock examination including worded problem practice along with review of the paper during the session. Further word problems of areas found to be weak will be addressed during the review for the remainder of the session. The mock examination will be a combination of independent school entrance exams as well as grammar school entrance examination.

NVR PART 1: 90 MINS
45 mins daily mock examination along with review of the paper during the session. The mock examination will be a combination of independent school entrance exams as well as grammar school entrance examination including GL, CEM, CSSE, SET, ISEB and Independent School Syllabus.

NON-VERBAL REASONING

NVR PART 2: 90 MINS
Content revision covering all of the 11+ NVR curriculum and homework is also set for extra practice after the session. Topics that will be covered are as follows:

Codes, Reflections and rotations
Matrices and Like figures
Merge shapes and Series
Nets, 3D shapes and revision

ENGLISH PART 1: 90 MINS
45 mins Daily mock examination, including multiple choice Verbal Reasoning and Comprehension as well as written comprehension and creative writing task under exam conditions along with review of the paper during the session. Areas found to be weak will be addressed during the review for the remainder of the session. The mock examination will be a combination of independent school entrance exams as well as grammar school entrance examination.

COURSE CURRICULUM
MATHEMATICS PART 2: 90 MINS
Content revision covering all of the 11+ Mathematics curriculum and homework is also set for extra practice after the session.
Week 1: Numbers including long division, arithmetic and place value. Ratios and Proportion including percentage increase/ decrease.
Week 2: Geometrical Measures including properties, position and directions of shapes
Week 3: Algebra and Statistics including sequences The course includes all learning materials, tuition and resources.

ENGLISH PART 2: 90 MINS
Content revision covering all of the 11+ English curriculum and homework is also set for extra practice after the session.
Week 1: SPAG fundamentals including advanced punctuations technique
Week 2: Comprehension techniques including deduction methodology, inference, analysis, context clues, character traits and the main idea
Week 3: Creative writing topics including story starters, character development, plot building and effective endings. Strong a focus on structuring
Including both Fiction and Non-fiction writing
